The Rook 50 features an ultra-adjustable ventilated back system featuring an AirSpeed mesh suspended above a large cavity allowing the passage of air. This design allows the body to follow the shape of the waist belt and the lumbar part of the backpack, for enhanced comfort and even more stable and assisted load carrying. Adjusting the height of the shoulder straps is very intuitive thanks to the innovative vertical adjustment system on rails. The Rook 50 adjusts quickly and easily to suit you perfectly. To match a wider variety of back lengths, these packs are equipped with load lifter straps on the shoulder straps that ensure the pack stays comfortable no matter its position.
The Rook includes all the essential functions for traveling stays of several days; generous volume with access via the top flap and the lower sleeping bag compartment. An internal divider provides a separate lower compartment and can be removed when not in use. Numerous compression straps ensure the stability of the backpack without impeding access to the mesh water bottle pockets. Two hipbelt pockets and a large top flap pocket with key clip provide quick access to small items.
If needed, the Rook is compatible with Osprey's Daylite backpacks. You can thus attach the small bag to the large one to obtain more volume and another optional bag for outings of a few hours while leaving your large backpack under the tent.
