Anti Mosquito/Anti InsectFor its products with Anti Mosquito/Anti Insect technology, PAC relies on EBAAP (Ethylbutylacetylaminopropionate) to ward off insects. Unlike DEET or permethrin, there are no known side effects for this repellent: EBAAP neither causes allergies nor does it attack plastics. According to the WHO, even pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and babies aged 6 months and over can wear textiles with EBAAP without hesitation. Further advantages for people and nature: EBAAP is biodegradable, does not accumulate in the environment and is non-toxic to insects and aquatic organisms. The active ingredient is therefore an effective and sustainable insect repellent. It has an effective radius of 40 cm, is odorless to humans and lasts at least 100 washes (tested in the laboratory).
