A type of steel with excellent toughness and very good resharpenability. Furthermore, it is finished with a black coating, this coating is not only for the appearance but also increases corrosion resistance and reduces cut resistance. The handle has a robust construction, made with sturdy liners and scales of denim micarta, a composite material. This gives the knife a robust look, a pleasant texture and high wear resistance. The knife is equipped with a deep-carry clip and a lanyard eye.
