The Lite Hike GTX is lightweight and functional, making it a perfect companion for many sporting adventures in nature. The hand-applied rubber belt provides protection for foot and shoe. The free-running "Speedwire" of the variofix system pulls evenly tight around the heel when lacing.
The grippy profile of the Meindl Multigrip G4 sole with continuous EVA soft-tread wedge + TPU heel stabilizer gives secure grip and wonderful cushioning. The sole incorporates 22% recycled rubber, which is a by-product of the normal sole production process. The recycled rubber content was chosen to still produce the sole in the usual Meindl quality.
